Privacy Policy
We keep this simple, because we collect very little and we do not sell any of it.
What we collect
When you use our website, we may collect:
Information you give us. When you fill out our contact form, book a discovery call, or message us, we collect your name, your email address, and anything you choose to tell us about your organisation and your project.
Information you enter into our interactive tools. Our site has tools that let you type in things like your brand name or a sample of your own content to see a personalised response. We use what you enter only to generate your result in that moment. We do not store it.
Basic usage information. Like most websites, we use analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed, and marketing tags from platforms like LinkedIn to measure our ads. These only run if you accept them when you first visit.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to your inquiry and follow up on project conversations, to send you information about Throughline Co. services if you asked us to, and to understand how the site is used so we can make it better.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone.
Our interactive tools
Some tools on our site generate a personalised response from what you type in, using an AI system. What you enter is used only to create your result on the spot. We do not save it, and we do not use it to build a profile of you. The result is a starting point for a conversation, not professional advice.
Communications
If you contact us or submit a form, you agree to receive replies from Throughline Co. You can opt out any time by replying to any email and asking us to stop.
Cookies and tracking
We use two kinds of cookies and tracking on our site.
Essential cookies. These keep the site working, for example remembering your cookie choice. They are always on because the site needs them.
Analytics and marketing. With your consent, we use tools like Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, and tags from platforms like LinkedIn so we can measure and improve our own ads. These do not load until you accept them.
When you first visit, you will see a banner asking you to accept or decline non-essential cookies. If you decline, none of the analytics or marketing cookies are set and no usage data is collected. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings link in our footer.
Data retention
Because we collect so little by design, there is not much to keep. Inquiry and contact details are kept only as long as we need them to talk with you or work together. Tool inputs are not retained at all. Analytics data, if you consent to it, is kept according to our analytics provider's standard retention period, typically up to 14 months.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of analytics. To make a request, email us at info@throughline.community and we will sort it quickly.
Children's privacy
Our site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top will always reflect the most recent version.
